Danielle and Kurt hail from Edmonton, but chose Victoria for a destination wedding. Because they are big golfers, The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort and Spa was an ideal wedding venue.

The overall floral look was full, abundant, romantic garden flowers… a little bit of English country garden a little bit of French countryside. We carefully selected garden roses in shades of peach, earth tones and creams.

We had the most beautiful Icelandic poppies and creamy white foxgloves from Earth Candy Farm. We had just met and started working with our friend Lorna from Ninebark Farm, and she supplied us with the most spectacular Kiftsgate garden rose (one of the oldest rambling rose varieties from England).

Ryan from Mt Newton Floral got us the beautiful fluffy smoke bush, which added a gorgeous light and ethereal texture to the large ceremony arrangements.

At the last minute, because we had found some incredible dogwood at Farmer Shellie’s, we decided to create some “hedge” pieces to line the aisle with, they were mostly foliages and we arranged them look like they were growing out of the ground.

Danielle was so excited about her bouquet that we both had a few tears together in the bridal suite where she was getting ready. This lady was one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen. Her dress from Ines De Santo was exquisite and Sharon Rai is the talent behind the hair and make up.

Nicole from Details BC coordinated their wedding day and helped the couple plan from afar. Cassie O’Neil Cinematography did the breathtaking wedding video. Bash Specialty provided beautiful furnishings. The photographer, Vasia of Vasia Weddings, was the absolute perfect choice for this wedding. Her detail shots are exquisite and she captures such beautiful moments between the bride and groom.
