Our favorite store in Victoria wanted a little “floral boost!” Bernstein & Gold run by Erin & Claudia is a fabulous wonderland of clothing, shoes, accesories and of course a SPA! Under the magical hands of Christine we are well taken care of and recieve far and away the best pedicures in the world. They carry a wide variety of Fresh and Antipodes cosmetics and is really our home away from home. They have beautiful high ceilings so we brought the outside in and created large trees of forsythia and laid fresh blocks of oatgrass in the windows, it looked like an explosion of yellow and green, and was stopping people on the street as they were walking by.

A Winter Wedding at the Art Gallery

Jennifer and Jason flew all the way here from Australia to get married on a sunny January evening. The entire wedding took place at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, and we enhanced the already beautiful space with lush arrangements of green and white blooms. Jennifer was great in her willingness to let us make most of the decisions, and we were both thrilled to meet her for the first time on the actual wedding day! We used lush white and green hydrangeas, white roses, green viburnum, freesia and spectacular white cattaleya orchids in Jennifers bouquet.
Boulevard Magazine Photoshoot

Our first photoshoot! We had the pleasure of providing some floral designs for a photoshoot in a local artists home. The home is fantastic Samuel Maclure creation that was formerly a B&B. The homeowners have done an incredible job of turning it into a lovely family home and it was our pleasure to be a small part of the shoot. We chose to use bright, bold colors of red , orange, yellow, and purple, as a compliment to the fantastic array of color in the homeowners artwork. We kept the arrangements simple using only tulips or roses for each one. The favourite was a 2 huge blue hydrangeas in urns that we flanked the front door with.
Look for the full article in the June/July issue of Boulevard Magazine. We look forward to seeing Vince Klassen’s shots. For now here is a few sneak peeks of the before and after.
